Dr. Philip Meyers, the current president of The Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery (SNIS), will be in San Diego this weekend teaching at the SNIS/Joint Cerebrovascular Section Fellows Course. The course is being held at the Hard Rock Hotel, February 8 – 9, 2014.
SNIS is a multi-disciplinary society of neurosurgeons, radiologists and neurologists who perform neuro-endovascular procedures (to learn more about the exciting work these people do, check out our previous post, Endovascular Neuroradiology; The New Frontier).
Dr. Meyers will be presenting some interesting case studies with his colleagues during a didactic session at the meeting titled Concepts & Practice.
Our New Jersey affiliate, Dr. William Christopher Fox has also been invited to teach at the fellows course. He was asked to come by Dr. William Mack, a former Columbia Neurosurgery resident, who is one of the Chairs for this year’s meeting.
