Dr. Sean D. Lavine from the Endovascular Center spoke at the National Arab American Medical Association (NAAMA) conference in New York City on Sat.
The title of his talk was “Advances in Stroke Imaging/ Update in Stroke Intervention”
From Dr. Lavine’s abstract: The current status of advanced medical imaging for acute stroke will be presented. Additionally, neuro-endovascular therapeutic intervention will be discussed for stroke patients. The current status of intra-arterial thrombolysis, mechanical thrombectomy, and the use of angioplasty and stenting for stroke will be the main topics for the presentation.
Dr. Lavine says,”It was an honor to be invited to speak @ the 35th NAAMA convention. It was a pleasure to present to the diverse group with physicians from numerous specialties and backgrounds.”
