Dr. Robert Solomon, Department Chair and Byron Stookey Professor of Neurosurgery, presented a case study in the New York Presbyterian’s “Advances in Neuroscience” Newsletter.
You can read the interesting article, Neurosurgical Challenges: A Case Study, in which he discusses the course of treatment for a patient with a large arteriovenous malformation (AVM) on page two of the newsletter’s 2012 Winter edition. There is also a fascinating image inside a human brain, plus pre- and post-brain scans to help explain the treatment process.
