Dr. Peter Angevine on Spinal Deformity in Adolescents

Angevine@AANSDr. Peter Angevine from the Spine Center attended the recent 82nd Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) in San Francisco.

There, he was a panelist for a breakfast seminar on Principles and Techniques of Deformity Correction in Adolescents and Young Adults.

“This was the 3rd year I’ve done this breakfast seminar,” said Dr. Angevine. “It is part of the AANS commitment to helping its members develop and maintain the skills necessary to care for patients with complex problems, including spinal deformities.”

After completing his neurosurgical residency, Dr. Angevine received special fellowship training in spine surgery at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, at Washington University in St. Louis. His special interests include spinal deformities of adults, adolescents and children, neuromuscular spinal deformities, complex revision spine surgery, and global and regional sagittal imbalance.
