Neurosurgeon and former president of the AANS (2011-1012), Dr. Paul McCormick got to sit back a little at this year’s annual meeting of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS). Having finished up his presidency at the last meeting, he was free, this year, to relax and enjoy the many lectures of his colleagues.
Being one of the foremost experts in his field, however, he was called in to moderate one seminar on Intramedullary Spinal Cord Tumors. The course featured several speakers, including Dr. McCormick, and focused on the many aspects of evaluation and state-of-the-art surgical management of these tumors.
As you can see in the photo above left, Dr. McCormick very much enjoyed participating in this event.
