Dr. Sean Lavine, neurosurgeon and endovascular specialist, spoke at Valley Hospital’s Heart and Vascular Institute last month for an education conference. His talk was entitled, Endovascular Neurosurgical Approaches to Thrombo-Embolic and Hemorrhagic Stroke.
The conference was for the continuing education of the physicians and staff of Valley’s Heart and Vascular Institute. This included attendees from across disciplines in cardiac medicine, surgery, and interventional cardiology as well as vascular surgery.
Dr. Lavine spoke about the current state of endovascular neurosurgical approaches and provided an update on the imaging, procedural techniques, devices and current literature relevant to the topic.
Dr. Lavine is Director of Neurointerventional Services at The Valley Hospital and he frequently shares his expertise there, across the country and abroad to both medical specialists and the lay-public alike.
