Department has Large Presence at Annual Neurosurgery Meeting

Neurosurgery On Fire, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons‘ (AANS) 78th annual meeting is on and we are there!   So many of our doctors are among the faculty and presenters at this five day event that we have just about lost count.

Dr. Christopher Winfree from the Peripheral Nerve Center helped kick off the event yesterday as a faculty member in a hands-on Practical Clinic about the Nerves of the Upper Extremities.

Today, Dr. Alfred Ogden and Dr. Peter D Angevine, from the Spine CenterDr. Guy McKhann from the Epilepsy Center; and Dr. Richard Anderson from the Pediatric Neurosurgery Center will be serving as co-directors or faculty in a number of Practical Clinics.

Seminars held Monday through Wednesday will feature more of our doctors including:  head of the department, Dr. Robert A. Solomon;  Center doctors Dr. Sean D. Lavine, Dr. Richard Anderson, Dr. Robert R. Goodman, Dr. Paul C. McCormickDr. Guy M. McKhannDr. Michael G. Kaiser, and Dr. Christopher J. Winfree; as well as residents, Dr. Christopher P. Kellner, and Dr. Raqeeb Haque.
