Laboratory Analysis

As part of a comprehensive initial assessment or ongoing evaluation, your work-up at the Spine Center may include various laboratory (blood, urine) tests. Not all patients will require laboratory analysis as part of their Spine Center evaluation. However, these examinations may be especially useful in the identification of:

• Degenerative diseases
• Neoplasms, infections
• Inflammatory diseases
• Referred visceral pain as the underlying cause of your particular spinal condition
