Janette received her BSN from the Silliman University College of Nursing, in the Philippines in 1981 . She came to New York in 1985 and has worked in the critical care arena – medical and surgical intensive units for more than 20 years. She completed her MSN- Family Nurse Practioner degree at Columbia University School of Nursing in 2000. She currently works in collaboration with attending physicians and resident physicians caring for adult in patient neurosurgical patients.Her goal is to facilitate a smooth transition from hospital to home or other facilities in consultation with the interdisciplinary team members and patient family .
