Charitable Giving to the Department of Neurological Surgery
At the Columbia University Medical Center’s, Department of Neurological Surgery, we have a long-standing tradition of delivering the best neurological surgery care available. We also push the frontiers of discovery forward in an effort to develop new and more effective therapies. We strive to bring scientific research and discovery into clinical services to improve the lives of our patients. Each day, neurosurgeons and scientists work together to address the most difficult medical questions: how to treat and eventually cure and prevent the devastating disorders of the neurological system. We are driven by the needs of our patients and the promise of discovery.
Our many landmark contributions to the advancement of neurological surgery medicine are the result of novel ideas that have been funded through the generosity of visionary philanthropists. With the generous support of good friends, loyal alumni and grateful patients, future discoveries by our, neurosurgeons will be achieved through the pursuit of new ideas that push the limits of current knowledge and expand the boundaries of our ability to treat and cure.
