Dr. E. Sander Connolly

Dr. E. Sander Connolly from the Cerebrovascular Center spoke recently at the American Heart Association’s International Stroke Conference in New Orleans.  As Chair of the Writing Group, he presented the Subarachnoid Hemorrhage Guidelines.

Dr. Connolly is also Chair of the Joint Cerebrovascular Section of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons(AANS) and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), which held their Annual Meeting in New Orleans just before the Stroke Conference this year.

He has been on this list for seven years in a row.

He is also included in 11th annual publication of America’s Top Doctors for 2012, and he has been in that publication for eleven years running.

Dr. Richard Anderson from the Pediatric Neurosurgery Center is featured in the January issue of Bergen County’s (201) Magazine.

He is at the top of their list of, People to Watch: 15 professionals making a difference in health.

In the article he is called,”A champion for children,” and is quoted saying, ” There is no feeling that comes close to walking out of the operating room and telling anxious parents that their child’s surgery was successful and that their child is going to have a normal life.”
