Columbia Neurosurgeon, Dr. E. Sander Connolly Lectures on Quality and Value in Healthcare
Dr. E. Sander Connolly from the Cerebrovascular Center spoke at a Luncheon Seminar on Quality and Value in Health Care at the recent meeting of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
The seminar covered standards of quality in healthcare and how value relates to efficiency and outcomes.
Dr. Connolly is Vice Chairman of Neurosurgery at Columbia University Medical Center. He also serves as the Surgical Director of the Neuro-Intensive Care Unit and Director of the Cerebrovascular Research laboratory there.
His specialties include Brain Aneurysms, Arteriovenous Malformations, Carotid Stenosis, EC-IC Bypass for Athero-occlusive disease and moyamoya, and Surgical management of acute cerebrovascular emergencies.
