Dr. Neil Feldstein’s Patient Dante Featured in Thanksgiving Story
The Ugliarolo family had a lot to be thankful for yesterday. They got to spend Thanksgiving with their spirited little boy Dante, who just three weeks ago had a brain tumor removed by Dr. Neil Feldstein from the Pediatric Neurosurgery Center.
Dante’s story came out in the New Jersey newspaper, The Record, on Thursday, November 28, 2013 in the local section for Wayne, New Jersey. You can see the story online here.
The surgery, done at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital at New York-Presbyterian, took eight hours. Dr. Feldstein removed a non-malignant brain tumor located above Dante’s pituitary gland.
Nine-year-old Dante was released from the hospital last Friday and has made a remarkable recovery. He’s been outside playing sports – he’s back to normal.
“He’s a fabulous kid,” said Dr. Feldstein in The Record. “He’s such an easygoing kid that it’s such a delight to have him around.”
