Columbia Neurosurgery Well Represented in NY Magazine’s 2013 ‘Best Doctors’ Issue
Every year, for the last sixteen years, New York Magazine has come out with a ‘Best Doctors’ issue and once again, the Department of Neurosurgery at Columbia University Medical Center/NY Presbyterian Hospital has a terrific showing within their list of recommended physicians.
The June/July 2013 issue includes 1,198 peer selected physicians in the New York Metro Area, who range from family practitioners to a wide variety of specialists. Physicians from this department are listed under the specialty of Neurological Surgery, Neuroradiology, and Radiation Oncology.
The doctors included in the magazine were chosen through a stringent screening and peer-review process developed by the research company Castle Connolly Medical Ltd.. A more expanded version of their recommendations is published in their 2013 Top Doctors: New York Metro Area guidebook.
Below is a listing of physicians from Columbia’s Department of Neurological Surgery along with the subspecialities for which they have been recognized:
Furthermore, New York-Presbyterian Hospital had the most physicians on NY Magazine’s ‘Best Doctors’ list than any other facility in the New York Metro area. You can read more about that here.
