Dr. McKhann Talks About Surgery in Eloquent Regions of the Brain at CNS 2012
Dr. Guy McKhann, Florence Irving Associate Professor of Neurological Surgery, spoke at the recent 2012 Annual Meeting of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) in Chicago.
His talk was part of a Luncheon Seminar on Strategies to Reduce Risk in Surgical Management of Tumors in Eloquent Regions of the Brain.
The Eloquent regions are those that if damaged could result in paralysis, the loss of speech or sensation and therefore need careful consideration during surgery.
