Dr. Evan Johnson Speaks at 2012 North American Spine Society Meeting
Dr. Evan Johnson, Director of Physical Therapy at the Spine Center, has been appointed to the Allied Health Sections Committee of the North American Spine Society (NASS) this year.
He met with his colleagues at the 2012 Annual NASS Meeting in Dallas, Texas last month where he gave two lectures and helped analyze attendees’ golf swing.
Dr. Johnson’s first talk was on Exercise-Based Management of Lumbar Spine Pain with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Physical Therapy. His second presentation was on the subject of Spine Triage.
Dr. Johnson also worked in a booth with new golf-swing-analyzer equipment for instruction on proper golf swing during rehabilitation for low back pain (image above left).
