Resident Neurosurgeon Brad Zacharia Presents Research on Aneurysms at CNS Meeting

Senior neurosurgical resident, Dr. Brad Zacharia was among the many physicians from Columbia who attended the 2012 Annual Meeting of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) in Chicago last week.
He presented his research, Variation in Outcomes for Management of Unruptured Intracranial Aneurysms at High Volume Centers in New York State, at a Conference Forum. In the image above left Dr. Zacharia explains the results of his study to an interested colleague.
Authoring this research with him were: fellow senior resident, Zachary Lee Hickman; Department Chairman, Robert A. Solomon; Vice Chairman, E. Sander Connolly Jr.; and Clinical Coordinator of the Cerebrovascular lab, Samuel Bruce (yes, he is Dr. Bruce’s son).
