Chief Resident Paul Gigante Earns Shulman Award
We are proud to announce that Chief resident Paul Gigante, MD has been given the prestigious Kenneth Shulman Award by the Pediatric Section of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS ).
This is the highest award given to a resident for an oral presentation on the subspecialty of Pediatric Neurosurgery. Dr. Gigante was given the award at the recent AANS/CNS Annual Meeting for his presentation, Effects of Lumbar Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy on the Upper Extremities in Children with Spasticity.
