US News Gives us Top Honors Again!
New York-Presbyterian University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell has once again been ranked Best Hospital in New York. This is according to U.S.News & World Report‘s, “America’s Best Hospitals Survey.” We have also, for the eleventh year in a row, been placed on their Honor Roll as one of the top ten hospitals in the Nation.
Proudly, in the area of Neurology and Neurosurgery, our hospital has been ranked in the top five every year for the last twelve. We did it again this year with a ranking of fourth in the Nation–that is out of 1300 hospitals.
This is an amazing achievement, particularly in our competitive and challenging environment. It truly validates the outstanding quality and compassionate care and service that we deliver to our patients and families. Thank you to our amazing doctors, nurses, staff, and our medical school partners, Weill Cornell and Columbia, for your teamwork and commitment to We Put Patients First. We are very grateful and proud of the work you do every day! Congratulations NYP!–Herbert Pardes, MD, President & Chief Executive Officer and Steven J. Corwin, MD, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
