Nurse Kimberly Farro, MSN., APRN-BC from the Cerebrovascular Center won a Hero Award at the American Heart Association‘s 2009 Heart Ball. You can see a profile of Nurse Farro in this New York Heart Ball 2009 video (she is featured at about the 2 minute mark).
Nurse Virginia Cox, MPA,RN from the Endovascular Center received a patient care grant from the New York Presbyterian Hospital for work involving patient information for MRI compatibility with implantables.
Nurse Nenita Magpantay-Nadera, RN from the Gamma Knife Center was inducted into the Honor Society of Nursing: Sigma Theta Tau International.
